Business as an intermediary?

Hello everyone,

I recently met a colleague from China on vacation. He sells clothing (shoes, clothes) in his home country. After a lengthy conversation, he offered to act as his agent in Germany. That means I would open a website for him and manage a German website for him. I receive a share of the profits from sales, which I naturally have to pay taxes on. My question is what type of business I need to register here. Since the money from sales doesn't end up in my account, only the profits, I'm not a dealer.

thank you very much for your answers

Dealers or brokers or similar services.

Hopefully, you will be aware that you will be considered an importer for this plagiarism. The goods can already be confiscated by customs. And you are also responsible for warranties.

And, of course, you have to do a good job:

If you only sell the goods, you are a sales representative according to § 84 et seq. HGB
