Getting your period despite taking the pill?

Hello, I'm 17 and have been taking the same pill (swingo 30) since I was 14. I asked my gynecologist and she said I can take two packs without any problem. I started the second pack a few days ago. I've just got my period. Is that normal? Or have I done something wrong? Because I haven't made any mistakes when taking the pill. I'm a bit unsure what this means because my gynecologist said I didn't have my period during that time, so I've decided to take twice as many. Does anyone understand my problem and can help me? Or does anyone have any experience with this?

Best regards and thanks for your help in advance 🙂

You don’t get a period with the pill. In the pause, the hormonal withdrawal causes a bleeding. What you have now is probably a lubrication bleeding, a side effect of the pill. The probability of such a side effect can be increased by taking the pill longer without a break. This has nothing to do with protection.

Hello

In the pill break you don’t get a period but a hormone withdrawal bleeding or bleeding. If you notice a bleeding during taking this is an intermediate bleeding – this is a frequent side effect of the pill.

I hope I could help you 🙃

The pill does not prevent the period. The pill regulates them. That is why it is recommended for women who have problems with the period.

The pills are to be taken as the days on the pack are indicated. Don’t mess! Depending on the type of pill, there are placebos.
