How long do dried tomatoes in oil last after opening?

Hello!

I have a jar of sun-dried tomatoes in oil in the fridge. The jar says to use within 5 days. But they've been in the fridge for a few months now, because I thought they'd last forever as long as they were completely covered in oil. Do you think they're still edible?

Best regards

the note with the 5 days has already its meaning, but let nase and a careful taste sample with decide.

Let’s go, otherwise there’s a bad stomach pain.

Normally they keep forever. If the oil does not taste ranciful, good appetite 😋

The five days are also on ketchup, but still keeps forever.
