Geraniums sick white bent leaves?
Hello dear community,
Unfortunately, my newly purchased geraniums look very worn. The leaves are whitish and curled in many places. I have no idea what's causing this. Are there any ways to counteract this problem?
I would be very grateful for any help or advice.
Best regards

Too much sun and not cured? Get Frost?
Remove all diseased leaves and wilted flowers on the leaf stalk (starting from main shoots). Just bend gently on the thickening. Cutting is not necessary.
Place the plant in a bright window, protect the first days from the sun (also behind glass), then gradually get used to sun and fresh air. Do not let dry, keep slightly moist, not too much water, fertilizer only in 4 weeks.
In our regions, the “south countries” were formerly kept as blooming houseplants and only moved relatively late into the open. This can still be done today, but it must be taken into account. Winter rest in a bright and cool (frost-free) place is essential. Before plant at least cut by half and remove cranial leaves, pour only a little. From the end of February/ early March on a sunny windowboard, but still cool. First fertilization at the end of March. Turn out in warm April days, just not in the prall sun.
Overwinter mine for many years. They are already in full flower and outside. They have covered the last night frosts.
I’d cut her back pretty much. So all the infested leaves have to leave the flower too. So that the plant can get strength from below.
You can’t keep them in the apartment. Only out there would she freeze. So she needs a cool but bright place. It’s best in the cellar that has windows.
You bought them too early, or they were dressed too soon. Geranien are southern countries. With us there can be frost until mid-May. From this they do not belong to it already in flowering.
They can be easily overwintered in a suitable basement and then driven again. Apartments do not own for this, because it is not a room plant.
Mushroom infection, healthy cutting, disinfect the scissors with spirit after each cut. Slightly raise less giessen. Too frueh fuer out, night frost, plant not drained.
