Gepäckablauf bei Flug mit mehreren Airlines bei Check24?
Hi zusammen!
Es gibt zwar gefühlte 3000 Fragen, die in die selbe Richtung wie meine gehen, aber eben keine, die genau den Kern trifft. Vielleicht hatte ja schon mal jemand eine verhleichbare Situation und kann berichten.
Zu meiner Situation: Ich habe über Check24 einen Flug von Hamburg nach Taipei über London Heathrow gebucht. Umsteigezeit in London planmäßig 2:50h.
Dabei fliege ich mit Eurowings nach London (EW7460) und von dort mit Eva Air nach Taipei (BR68, mit Stop in Bangkok, aber ich bleibe an Bord). Daraus ergeben sich für mich zwei Fragen bzgl. meines Gepäcks. Hotlines von Fluggesellschaften und Check24 sind so hilfreich, wie man es erwarten würde – gar nicht.
Man muss dazu sagen, dass es mein erster Flug mit Umstieg ist und ich entsprechend zusätzlich aufgeregt und verunsichert bin. Irritieren tut mich auch, dass bei Eurowings der Flug nach London als Hin- und der Flug nach Taipei als Rückflug gelistet wird. Könnte das problematisch werden?
Problem ist, dass Heathrow aktuell ja ein komplettes Chaosfeld ist und ich Angst habe, dass ich in dem Fall, dass ich Gepäck dort neu aufgeben muss, meinen Flug verpasse.
1. Frage: Wird mein Aufgabegepäck automatisch weitergereicht? Insbesondere wegen der Hin-Rückflugsache mache ich mir hier Sorgen. Laut EW besteht ein Interline Agreement mit Eva, bei Eva steht dazu aber nichts. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das irgendwie klappt.
2. Frage, um die ich mit mehr Sorgen mache: Bei Eva sind 2 Aufgabe-Gepäckstücke inkludiert, bei Eurowings eines. Wenn ich also zwei Gepäckstücke mitnehmen will und dafür nur für den London-Flug eines dazubuche, wird das automatisch mit dem Taipei Flug kombiniert? Oder müsste ich dann definitiv in London rausgehen und neu einchecken?
Ich hoffe, irgendjemand war mal in einer ähnlichen Situation und kann mir ein wenig die Angst nehmen (oder sie schüren, damit ich weiß, worauf ich mich einstellen muss).

Das verstehe ich zwar auch nicht, würde es aber erstmal ignorieren. Die Web-Interfaces vieler Airlines sind so grottenschlecht, dass man sich davon nicht irritieren lassen sollte. Was da so alles an verwirrenden Infos steht…
Wenn du von Hamburg bis Taipeh durchgebucht bist (es als einen Flug gebucht hast), dann ja. Davon gehe ich in deinem Fall aus, denn so klingt es. Insbesondere, weil du ja schreibst “Laut EW besteht ein Interline Agreement mit Eva”. Dein Gepäck wird also automatisch für dich umgeladen.
Sorgen könnte eventuell noch die allgemeine Überlastung der Flughäfen bereiten…. hat sich Heathrow mittlerweile wieder beruhigt? Vor ein paar Wochen stapelten sich dort ja die Koffer.
Wenn du zwei Aufgabe-Gepäckstücke mitnehmen willst, musst du für den Eurowings-Flug ein weiteres dazubuchen. Ansonsten könnte es Ärger geben.
Ob sie dein Gepäckstück wirklich in London ausladen und aufs Gepäckband legen würden, weiß ich nicht, ich würde es aber nicht drauf ankommen lassen. Eventuell wirst du ausgerufen, musst an den Schalter kommen, für das Extra-Gepäck vor Ort in London blechen (was sehr teuer wird). Also vermeide das lieber, indem du im Voraus bei Eurowings 1 Gepäckstück dazubuchst.
Wundert mich eigentlich, dass bei der Buchung nicht darauf hingewiesen wird. Schlechtes Design / CX seitens der Airline.

I booked the whole as a flight at once, yes. Heathrow seems to have calmed down a bit on the Internet, but it is not particularly beautiful.
I would definitely have liked to book an extra baggage item for the EW flight. My question is more about whether this second item of luggage is then automatically forwarded to Eva as a second item of baggage, or I would have to check the item of baggage in London extra because I basically only booked it from Hamburg to London.
Is understandable what I mean? 😅
If a second baggage is free at EVA, this will also be loaded automatically. So you don’t have to pick up and check in again.
In the meantime, I learned that even before the start of the flight (i.e. in Hamburg, and Taipeh) your luggage situation is checked. For all partial flights. If anything weren’t to fit, you’d be told about it before your flight starts. As it gets expensive on site, book the extra baggage for EW rather online.
The fact that suitcases land in London on the baggage output band cannot occur as planned.
PS: I push the thumbs that Heathrow is no longer overloaded! I myself fly tomorrow from Berlin (the notorious BER) and also press my thumb 😁 even if it’s just a short-haul flight, I’d like to have my baggage here

All if everything has been booked normally (starting to the destination airport and not fitting the flights individually) the baggage will be checked normally for international flights (international air traffic association IATA has agreements). You don’t have domestic flights in the target country. Also for stays of more than 24h.
If you have booked one at Eurowings, the person will see everything at check in the switch.
I’d have that back and forth, too. The main thing is the “direction” and the date is true.

With your other answer, I can really calm you down. If you book one, everything will be checked. The flight is a journey. At check in, all information is available to check out everything. Lost can always go something but it is not the rule. You can confirm that you can fly without excitement at check in again.
