Check your luggage from Udon Thani Airport to Frankfurt?
Hello dear friends,
I had a question regarding my flight from Udon Thani to Bangkok, and from Bangkok to Frankfurt. I'm flying to Bangkok with Thai Smile, and eight hours later I'm flying to Frankfurt with Thai Airways. However, I don't want to pick up my luggage in Bangkok. So my question was, can I check my luggage through? Udon Thani is an international airport, but only offers domestic flights within Thailand.
I would appreciate a quick reply, as I'm flying on July 28th!

I can tell you from experience that looking through with Lufthansa would not be possible in such a case with Thai Smile.
However, since Thai Smile is a subsidiary of Thai Airways, it could be possible. Problem is only that there are problems between Thai Smile and Thai Airways again and again and so no one can give you a reliable answer. The best way to check-in directly and above all so please. Unfortunately, it often happens that the luggage is not checked through although it would be possible. So always ask for it!
