Can anyone explain why there is no coastal desert on the west coast of the USA?
It would be great if someone answered honestly.

It has been written in the Bible for thousands of years that small earthquakes will occur in the last days and that there will be increasingly stronger earthquakes… which means that this is just the beginning in Turkey 😓
I found this stone on the beach at the North Sea this weekend, The stone looks like lava stone, but is much darker and heavier. I also noticed the even grain.
It's kind of strange, because America is a continent. Many people refer to the USA as "America." Is that possible, and would that be correct?
Hi, I wanted to find out what you can do in the USA/California besides studying? I would like to go there for a year after my training, but not to study or anything else.
There are no coastal deserts on the west coast of the USA because the climate and geographical conditions are not suitable for the formation of a desert.
The west coast of the USA is influenced by the cold Californian stream, which brings cooler air and damp sea flows. This creates a maritime climate characterized by mild temperatures and sufficient rainfall. These moist conditions prevent the formation of a desert along the coast.
In addition, the west coast is protected by coastal mountains such as Sierra Nevada and the coastal foothills of Rocky Mountains. These mountains act as barriers and prevent the penetration of dry, gloomy air masses from the east.
The combination of the maritime climate and the protection of the coastal mountains means that no coastal desert is created on the west coast of the USA. Instead, there are diverse ecosystems such as coastal forests, wetlands and Mediterranean vegetation.
