Ich lebe in einer WG und ich habe schonmal gesagt, dass dies nicht vorkommen soll… soll ich es einfach wegschmeißen?

There is no meat/food unpacked in the freezer. The chicken meat is then inedible. You could have thrown it away.

And salmonella can’t grow deep-cooled. Should be logical.

In the freezer or in the freezer it is minus 18 degrees. It should be. Then no germs multiply. Then the meat is still good after 2 years.

In the refrigerator it is about plus 5 degrees. As germs increase much more slowly than at room temperature. But for several days in the refrigerator they grow slowly. There is also a difference whether it is 3 degrees in the refrigerator or 8 degrees.
