Hello, I have already solved the following task myself, but I still have a question:
Determine the amino acid sequence encoded in the following DNA segment:
3'TACAAGCAGTTAGTCGTGGAAACACCAAGTAT C5'
5'AT GTT CGT CAAT CAGCACCTTTGTGGTTCAT AG3'

I would be very happy if someone who knows a lot about this could take a look and see if it's correct.
My question concerns the gap I left with the UGT. I didn't know what to write there. I would really appreciate some help.

UGT is not in the RNA. This is supposed to be UGU (Cys).
Okay, thanks for the answer. I have done the whole task, so to speak, only for one strand because they are complementary. Is that right?
Right. There are cases where both strands carry information that will then be read in opposite directions, but you can ignore that here.
