Money transferred but no goods received. Fraud?
Hello, I ordered an iPhone 13 last Tuesday from the website mobilepalace.de and chose the payment method “bank transfer”. When that happened, I received an email from mobilepalace.de saying that I would be notified when my order was shipped.
The next day, I went to the bank and transferred the entire amount to the company's account. I've been waiting for about six days for a notification from mobilepalace.de.
I realize it will take a little longer if you decide to use a bank transfer. However, the company still hasn't contacted me to date. The mobilepalace.de website states that you can contact them by email or phone if you have any questions.
So I wrote an email to the company and didn't get a response and I tried that several times and I still didn't get an email neither in the spam folder or anywhere else.
I also tried by phone but was unsuccessful because the phone service wasn't working.
I'm worried that the money has been transferred and I'll never receive my goods. I don't know what to do because I've tried everything. I think it might be fraud, but I don't know for sure.
what should I do?

Trustedshops are explicitly pointed out that this is a disgusting provider. Nowadays, you have the opportunity to find out something very quickly, and yet you always fall in it.

You realize what time a year is right? It’s Christmas Eve. If you have ordered Tuesday and handed over the money on Wednesday, it may have arrived on Friday’s dealer’s account, depending on the bank’s maturity. They’re going to have all their hands full, as every phone wants to give away.
I’m lucky someone works on Friday, but I wouldn’t expect that. Just don’t expect anything to happen before the 02.01.. If nothing happens in the New Year, you can still go to the police and report.
Whether you’ve actually been cheated or I can’t say… but you can only say… would have a bicycle chain.

I really incomprehensible, why before you buy where you haven’t bought in 2024 not even googelt fast before.
In addition, this shop with its mobile phones is not even “cheap”.
So compared with street prices .. on classifieds and eBay, and this is always as good as €100 with its used smartphones.
So long speech…. I would wait until next week, so next year, if what comes… if nothing comes, you send by enrollment that you want to withdraw from the purchase, and set a deadline of 14 days.
If there’s nothing coming after these other 14 days… you’re making a complaint.
And then you’d better have to take a lawyer because the police won’t get your money back. Because this is civil law.
You can’t do anything else because your money is gone.
If you had paid by PayPal, you could have opened a case now and would probably have had your money back next week.
So in the future: IMMER only check the shop… especially when the prices are temptingly low. In case of doubt, ask here.
And if you have such a shop where you have never bought payment methods where you have a “buyer protection” like PayPal.

If you have transferred the money from your intention and the provider should not (more) deliver, you can honestly only turn on a lawyer.
Therefore, I always advise never to transfer money from your site, but to use payment methods like paypal as a buyer.
