Well, a simple flat foot is much more common than a real tire spot… without prior visible damage to the tire on a fixed path is quite impossible.

Well, even a normal flat foot is not too often when you watch a bite where you drive and with what air pressure. For example, no one says you have to drive through the glass shards that you occasionally see on the way.

I just have an air pump, a replacement hose and a tire lifter on the bike. If I’m supposed to have a flat foot, I’ll change the hose and go on… in the normal case, I’ll even get on time because I’d rather get going in time and get some rest through a tight kick.

I drive every day and all year. I always have some tool, spare hose and air pump. In the cold season also rainwear and additional lamps with batteries. A tire does not burst if the pressure is not too high. All my wheels have more or less panning protection, so a plate is rare

At gas prices, I think the wheel is the best solution 😅

Not just because of the gasoline prices

I drive a lot in the warmer months bike. On the one hand, I should have coats on the tire that are “unplatable”. They have a stronger rubber layer, but are also somewhat more expensive.

Then I always have two spare hoses, air pump and tool in the backpack. In order to avoid delays at work, I also drive off earlier and then sit close to a bank or go to the baker.

At appointments I’m similar, usually too early and that’s always working.

Um, it’s not raining.

I’ve only been spotted once in the free time of the smart, since I’ve always been there.

Tire spots just don’t happen. Unless you always drive almost without air or have 8 years old tires on it.

Even the Plattfuss has lost its horrors since, for example, the company Schwalbe has “unplatable” tires like the Marathon Plus. It is not really unplatable because a SPAX screw can still cause a flat foot. But that also applies to a car tire, I’ve had it twice that one of my cars was paralyzed by a spax screw.

The likelihood to arrive with a Schwalbe Marathon Plus bicycle tire without a flat foot on the Abeit is therefore almost 100 percent.

I had two flat feet on the wheel for the last 20 years, always on so-called. “Radwegen” on GEHwegen; because there’s often scissors lying around.

Since I can travel to 99.x% normal on the road, it’s not a problem for me – in the car tires can also lose the air…

If you need to use “ride paths” you can reduce the risk of pan-safe tyres.

Mostly, the tire is very soft because you’ve been driving over a bit of a tip. You can try pumping the air back on the way or you’re going to be the rubber slipping. If it’s too strong you have to push the wheel or try to patch the hose.

Driving tires rarely break, you are insecure there are special coats and fillings for the tire which prevent a plate in most cases.

the car could also burst a tire!

A car tire is not the same as a bicycle tire

and it’s air in it like the bike!
