Should data protection be abolished?
Without data protection, it would be much easier to track down criminals. If everything is transparent and the government has access to everyone's data, there's no need to fear that data will be stolen. Who should you protect your data from? If you have nothing to hide, you don't have to fear it.
Then go ahead with a good example and share all your data with us, all your passwords, photos, videos, and then hang a few cameras on for a constant live stream from your apartment and wee there is a corner over each other unobserved.
Do you still think you wouldn’t hide anything?
Data will be protected because there will always be someone who will do so. It is important to have privacy and own secrets.
Data protection should be abolished for state investigative work, because everything that authorities determine is subject to strict confidentiality, which puts an unauthorized transfer of data under penalty anyway.
It is also about preventing such bad things as Solingen or Magdeburg, which was already possible in part. If there’s a few officers who see what websites I’m calling, and all of this lands at some point in the recycle bin, that can’t matter.
… this will be a problem when criminals hack the state.
Or, even worse: if autocratics or extremists take power in the state and take action against political opponents and unpopular minorities – and have practically all data in the archive.
In a one-world order governed by multinational corporations, such power abuses will no longer exist.
Well, with the threatening American trigestion, you will be diversified. To your profile – but also nix more to laugh, Zuckerberg should also be able to get through with its newest mesh in the EU.
No one has nothing to hide.
For decades the same saying…
How about the general plan? Guilty until you prove the opposite?
But you’ll be a bit nacky and see how it feels when your computer doesn’t do it anymore or even your entire identity is stolen.
But it’s probably just a troll question if I read some of your other questions.
No, I still want privacy.
The state can still see with whom you sextest
.
Not abolished, but not so severe
I already find it irresponsible by the police that they don’t publish bodycam bullets for deterrent – as in the USA. But if not in their power, this is our legal position
It really needs bodycams to get the cops off for their misconduct. We have so many cases where they get away with their lies because they are not filmed or the recordings are strangely disappeared.
I think the opposite is the case. Too many policemen are accused of doing things they never did. For example, to strike passersby groundless. Often the necessary measures are in such demos e.g.
Yes, what are the police even supposed to do if some passersby simply repeatedly take their head against the police’s knees? In addition, they are already running around and filming everything with their cameras at the demos, which is absolutely not possible
