Used car inspection? Need urgent help?
Hi, I bought a very expensive car with a TÃœV (German Technical Inspection Authority). However, I'm now suspicious and want to have everything thoroughly checked, especially the engine. What's the best way to proceed? Should I become an ADAC member? Where is the best place to check that the mileage on the speedometer is actually correct and not manipulated? Does anyone have good experience? Money isn't an issue here; I've already spent a lot of money, so the inspection or check is worth a lot to me! Please answer this question from people with experience. Does anyone know the pros and cons of comparing ADAC with DEKRA? I don't want to make a blind decision. I'm counting on your serious experience reports and recommendations. Thanks in advance.
They don’t screw up the engine and look in.There’s a clue when buying a vehicle, then you don’t have to worry about it.If the car still has a manufacturer’s warranty, you don’t have to worry about it anyway. If the car has a fully maintained checkbook and little KM on the clock also doesn’t (maybe always arrive on the car, there are always models with known problems). Was the seller a dealer or private?
Unfortunately not private. car house
If you have bought from a reputable car house, you don’t need to worry. The mandatory warranty for the used car purchase is 2 years. In this time, the dealer is liable for the car being free of defects when buying.
Super, good to know
Okay, if that’s true in the purchase contract. The dealer may shorten the warranty for one year.
Got a year warranty 🤔
Here you will find a comparison of the services.

Those who do the better check will probably depend on the individual examiner and his expertise.
Just let it be checked in a workshop of your trust.
Thanks, that’s well meant, but doesn’t really help me yet
Why not?
OK thank you
Any serious workshop or car expert.
I need advice who is competent
now ask first where the car was in workshops. These write up the km stand on invoices/copy. There may be copies. If there’s something about 180,000 km on your tacho but 110,000 km then you should consider more steps
Super answer thank you
