Gebrauchtwagen mit späteren Getriebeproblemen zurückgeben oder reparieren?
Beispiel ist kauft bei einem Autohändler einen top Gebrauchtwagen 6000-10.000 €, innerlich und äußerlich super in Schuss. Ist dann auch ein Sondermodell und mit der Ausstatung, dem Zustand auf kurzer bis mittlerer Sicht nicht wiederzubekommen, jedoch tauchen nach wenigen Monaten Getriebeprobleme auf (Notlauf und Geräusche sowie Probleme beim Einlegen der Gänge), bis zum möglichen Getriebeschaden auf. Würdet ihr das Auto im Sinne der Gewährleistung vom Händler auf seine Kosten reparieren lassen und das Auto behalten oder direkt gegen den Kaufpreis zurückgeben. Dabei sich für ein etwas anderes Modell umsehen, da dieses begrenzter bis kaum Verfügbar ist. Habt aber schon 1500 € für andere Reparaturen (Verschleißteile etc.) für den neuen Gebrauchten ausgegeben. Wie handelt ihr und warum?

if it happens within the first 6 months, your dealer has the right to upgrade…and that several times.

No. It’s 12 months. Since 2022 already.
But not if the dealer shortens the warranty to 1 year, then it’s 6, or not?

So let the dealer repair. At its cost, of course
A return was offered, as you probably don’t get out of history at low cost
Then you should accept that. Of course better
It can be so wrong or so. The wear parts are of course your costs. Evtl. involved the trader, had to negotiate
But 1500 € are already in the car at my expense (wear parts). So I would go out of history with minus in a short to medium view.
Of course, it can be that the repaired gear problem reappears after 1-3 years. Then I’d pull the shorter one.
