Good day,

If you want to sell a used PC game that you bought new in a DVD case and that needs to be activated via Steam, how can the buyer access the game?

Thank you in advance

If it has already been activated on your Steam account then you can only play it and the course would be Illegal!
He can’t access the game anyway.

If you’ve already used the key, you’ll have to sell the merciful account. The CD is nix more

In the policies of Steam, it is prohibited that the account may be shared or passed on by sale to third parties.

If you like to sell games after playing, you should not invest in the digital versions. According to AGBs, the accounts are bound to you and cannot be resold. You only acquire the rights of use and are therefore not entitled to a game or allAccountto resell.

This is important if you want to sell the Steam account

  1. The sale of your Steam account is not allowed.
  2. Offer it on eBay, the probability is very high that the auction is simply deleted by eBay.
  3. If a buyer and Steam notices that the account has changed the owner, Steam can simply delete the account.
  4. The buyer can even report you for fraud on the portal you have sold. After all, this cannot know whether you have recovered the account via the support or whether it has been deleted because of the use violation.

I know that the sale is forbidden, but it won’t stop people from lol

Yes millions are too far. Yes you say the bug can show you udn nciht Valve. Then this sentence is obsolete by you “But not to adhere to the AGB represents a breach of contract and that is criminally relevant.”

In addition, the buyer also breaks the AGBs, not only the sale but the entire trade in Accoutns is prohibited.

As if millions of Steam Accounts would be sold every month xD

The buyer can show you… not Valve… They simply delete the account and is good…

In fact, if you break this, you can be prosecuted in the terms and conditions of Steam. They would be thousands every month if not millions of complaints

Yes, he may. This is not about drugs or the like. The state does not prescribe that it is forbidden to buy Steam accounts. But not to adhere to the Terms and Conditions is a breach of contract and it is criminally relevant.

But he won’t be able to buy it either. Besides, it’s not a reason for an ad. It violates the TOS clearly, but it is not forbidden by law.

The buyer could see you because you sold something you can’t sell.

If I sell you an account, you give me the money and the account will be deleted later. Is it less my problem than that of the buyer

If the account is gone, it is not allowed to whip.

If you use the product code Not yet on Steam enabled you can sell it. Otherwise, the sale would be fraud because the buyer cannot redeem the product code a second time. ^^

Games you have already activated can no longer be sold (except the whole account, but this is not legal^)

The times when you could simply sell PC games have long been over.
