As stated by Kenshin, in Austria Airsoft is prohibited under 18.

The 0.5 Joule border is only important for Germany. With us in Austria, Airsoft is simply from 18. It does not distinguish between < or > 0,5 Joule Airsoftweapons. For this, everything must also be fully cared and does not need F.

The “Softairweapons Regulation 2013” applies as follows: Tax payable on: is prohibited by Airsoftweapons to minors.

So your parents may of course buy an Airsoft weapon – so that you could shoot it would have to be given to you before, what is forbidden as described above, because the charge ^^^^.

Hopefully all the uncertainties could be eliminated 🙂

There are no GBB guns under 0.5J.

And since you’re from Austria, Airsoft isn’t relevant to you until you’re 18. And the whole thing with 0.5J is only here with us in DE.

I take your profile from Austria. So, at least theoretically, the Softairweap regulation would have to tell you something. And according to this, the property and use of Airsoft weapons is not permitted. It won’t be leveraged by your parents buying the gun and pressing your hand. Laws do not end at the garden fence.

And as already written, the whole issue with the 0.5 weapons applies only to Germany. Even if here we say 16-year-old, legally must own a 0.5J weapon, in Austria he still makes himself punishable (as far as I know that).

You can either remove this regulation or wait until later here. It is also better related to Österland and the laws there than I do.
