meine Mutter und mein Kieferortophäde sagen ich muss dieses Gerät im Gaumen tragen, ca so 2 Jahre.
Ich möchte das nicht weil ich finde das sieht schrecklich und schmerzhaft aus. Ich will es wirklich nicht haben, ich würde jede alternative nehmen!
Gibt es noch andere Möglichkeiten? Ansonsten werde ich mein Kiefer so sein lassen wie er ist.

Hallo, ich hatte vor 6 tagen eine Weisheitszahn op, mir wurden 3 Zähne entfernt und spüre immernoch so ein ziehen an den nähten ist das normal? Jetzt ist seit 2 Tagen oben so ein weiß-gelblicher belag ist das Eiter oder dieses Fibrin? Danke für eure Hilfe❤
Ich habe seit 10 Jahren ein Zahnbrücke, die ist jetzt beim Kauen rausgefallen. Was soll ich tun? Zum Krankenhaus oder bis morgen warten und zum Zahnarzt und kann man das wieder befestigen?

a cap GNE (picture above) is hardly applied and is not really an alternative to the usual GNE. It only makes sense if the occlusion is to be decoupled in addition to the widening of the palate.
In the lower picture the GNE skeletar is anchored. This is the best option to quickly and precisely achieve the required widening of the jaw. Alternatively, the GNE can be anchored completely only to the teeth, but you want to widen the jaw and not move the teeth. This is why the first variant is significantly better.
If you get to a GNE, there is hardly any meaningful alternative. Everything else has considerable disadvantages.
I’m sure the GNE won’t stay in it for two years. Six months is common, one year the ceiling. If the teeth have to be kept longer, then a palatal arch comes in.
A GNE is a conventional treatment device with which millions of patients, after a short time of reconciliation, have been well-established. Why wouldn’t that work with you?

a) after an accident to restore
b) if unesthetic; or
c) any important functions are affected.
Everyone who also believes that this kind of ‘worm bending’ is not quite right without subsequent consequences.
Never change a running system. Don’t impose unnecessary measures. Without the 5-year-old garbage at that time, I probably wouldn’t have a dentist abo… (I think it’s more important to get the wisdom teeth out as soon as they get through – they often make bad trouble…)
It doesn’t hurt and you don’t even realize that. I don’t think there are alternatives
