Gan 356 maglev oder Gan 12 m maglev?

This is not going to be that detailed answer, because I just don’t have the time to answer.

The GAN 12 M Maglev is better than the GAN 356 Maglev

The GAN 12 M Maglev is one of the best cubes ever produced. This was used in the past by super many Cubern (including Yiheng Wang) and is also used today by many professionals (e.g. Tymon Kolasinski).

The GAN 356 Maglev should not be so good. Among other things, the Corner Cutting from this Cube is not so good, which then ensures that your Solves will not be so smooth. The price-performance ratio is definitely NOT true with this cube!

GAN is overpriced

Gan has a very good reputation and you also use it completely. Every beginner wants to have a GAN cube, but they don’t know what to miss. Other companies have been holding GAN for a long time. Cubes I recommend:

• MoYu Weilong v9 Ball-Core (Flagship product)
• MoYu Rs3m v5 Ball-Core (Midrange product, nevertheless for many of the best Cube at the time)

Lube is more important than Cube itself

Having a good cube alone is not necessarily enough, at least for a long time. I therefore recommend you to buy a cube that is hated or get yourself your own lube.

Many shops such as Cuboss offer a Lube service, with which they already lubricate the Cube well for you.

Disadvantage: Lube doesn’t last forever. It would be better if you were to get your own Lube and relude the Cube. But you should know what Lubes you like. For the beginning I can recommend Traxxas-50k (in dimensions). This allows you to do everything: make the cube quicker, slower and more supple

From the importance I would rank it as follows

1. Good cube with good lube
2. medium cube with good lube
3. Good Cube without Lube
4. Medium Cube without Lube
5. Bad Cube with Lube
6. Bad Cube without Lube

Therefore, it is important that you get Lube or get a cube that is already hated. That’s so much better.
