Dry food is also hay and dried herbs. Yeah, I’ll feed it both as a supplement.

I have actually only given pellets and muesli when the animals that came have to be slowly changed. In addition, some very sick animals get some dried corn, oat flakes and peas flakes when they are too thin in winter despite fresh food.

What exactly do you understand under fresh food? Where do you get this in winter?

I can also get pasty meadow in winter as I leave the grass for extra long. If the animals are used to it, they can eat it. In addition, however, a lot of leaves, salads etc from the grocery store, as Nathi says:)

Fresh food is also cabbage, salad, fennel, crumbled, tomatoes etc, all you get in grocery stores 😉

Hi.

No. It is important to me to feed them in an appropriate manner (as a must anyway). The consequences of dry food, or worse, dry food in a mix with fresh food, are more than unpleasant for the animals. I once got a rabbit that had a bloated and hard stomach due to this mixed nutrition. I don’t want to imagine the pain. It died the same day. I couldn’t do anything for him anymore.😔

There are exceptions with regard to weight, but there are feeds adapted to the animals, or it can be done as Asyra13 writes – to put it together. That’s always best. In normal shops you get for No Animal species-friendly feed.

Hello 🤗🙋🏽

No, they don’t. I don’t think it’s very healthy.

The only thing they get dry is hay and oatmeal. A little more in winter. But not much.

Dear Greetings I hope I could help you

When I didn’t know better (as a child) I also fed dry food, at my last posture I had the opportunity to inform myself on the internet and now I know better.

I also 😁 at the time 23 years ago the Internet was not as present for all children, the only way I had was to ask the staff in the zoo shop and look at other children with rabbits as they do.

No bad! Just as bad as holding a rabbit single

No dry food! Extremely harmful, can lead to death. And, of course, it’s not appropriate.

Yes but very rare.

My former rabbits have eaten dry food only to a small part anyway, so I didn’t give it anymore.

Sure. I even do it myself.

but not as main fodder, only once a small bowl for knabbering and also only green pellets
