Missed the pedestrian light?

Hello, the following happened to me yesterday: I was at a traffic light with a green arrow, and I wanted to turn right. When I arrived, the light was red and there was a lot of cross traffic, so I stopped, watched for pedestrians, and then slowly made my way in. Only when I was absolutely sure there was no traffic coming did I start to turn right. Unfortunately, at that exact moment, the light turned green, and with it the pedestrian light (for going straight ahead, where I have to give way), and I missed the light. The pedestrian yelled at me and insulted me for a moment, but then immediately kept walking. I don't think he even wrote down my license plate number, because he really did keep walking. I'm usually very careful, but in this case, the light turned green exactly when I was very close to the light, which is exactly why I missed it. That never happens to me.

I'm just afraid of what might happen to me if he does report me (probationary period😬).

You made a mistake. No one has been hurt. An emotionally unbalanced pedestrian has insulted you. That’s the problem.

If he’d show you, he’d have to give any evidence. If you don’t help him, no one has anything in their hands.

You may not get the most dangerous: After he yelled at you, you were probably particularly inattentive. If you can get away from it, you should get right and take a breath.

Well, you were slow enough to prevent an accident. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always work as the statistics show, but today you did. This will happen to you many times, and as a beginner, you will gather such experiences and learn from them.

I doubt that the unfriendly pedestrian continues to worry about the problem. An ad would hardly succeed. It was probably about your learning effect. Breathing does not help, but many people have not understood that.
