Do cows fart so much CO2 because milk production produces more pollutants than all airplanes combined?

I once heard that milk production is more harmful to the environment than all airplanes… how so?

Yes a cow produces 191 liters of methane (CH4) per day:

New fodder should leave cows less methane

Methane gases emit cows when plucking and furting. The Swiss company Mootral now offers a feed additive which is intended to reduce the methane precipitation by up to 30 percent. This addition alters the decomposition of the food in the premia of the ruminants. “The agent acts on the bacterial population in the cow’s breakdown. The methane is reduced. The feed additive consists of natural ingredients, is made from garlic powder and citrus extracts,” says Eileen Rueter of Mootral. The product should not have any risks and side effects. The garlic taste will not be noticed later in milk or meat, according to the company.

Also, but also the land for the pastures, this also releases CO2 (which was previously stored in tree nurseries)

They primarily cause methane, which is much more harmful than CO2. Therefore, the vie breeding is so critical.

Cows, though methane, are quite natural. Air planes emit extremely much CO2 and are not something natural but built by us people. This means that only we people with our inventions destroy the world.

That’s not true.

Cows take up CO2 with food and breathing. DAher is their omission to CO2 insignificant for the climate because it was previously removed from the environment. This creates a natural cycle.

Aircraft fuelled CO2 which was safely stored in the Earth for millions of years.

Even the methane is worse than CO2 is correct, as it remains less long in the atmosphere than CO2 this effect is mitigated again.

It is methane which is usually converted into CO2 equivalents.

added methane is significantly worse.

But methane is collected in most plants and used as energy.

Furthermore, methane remains less long in the atmosphere than CO2.

In addition, only cows (boilers) emit methane. Pigs and chickens not.

Under the line, mass animal husbandry contributes only insignificantly to climate change because it is a cycle.

Cows no Co2 at all. However, they are likely to emit more methane than all aircraft. Nevertheless, flying is much more harmful and should be limited to a minimum.

Cows of methane gas that is 28 times as fuelling as CO2.

But it’s not enough that cows could fly.

If you have heard this, you should also know the second part: cows produce methane and this is not exactly good for the environment.

Methane, not CO2
