Too late for the morning-after pill?

I didn't take the pill for 30 hours, but I've taken these two now, and I'm already bleeding. Last week, I had sex almost every day. Is it too late for the morning-after pill now? I'm really scared…

I have already replied to your first (more detailed) question.

The error in the second week is absolutely not a drama in a conventional combination pill, and it is not quite true in the third week. Please take a look at the package leaflet of your pill under “If you have forgotten to take XY®”.

The ovaries are almost in deep sleep, even a completely forgotten pill is not a leg break (with the picking being recommended to avoid intermediate bleeding alone) and you do not have to additionally prevent.

I haven’t taken a pill for 30 hours

According to your descriptiona forgotten (also not taken after, as it has noticed much too late) . The day after that I took them too late.”) that was much more than 30 hours…

But no matter what, it’s all about ensuring protection for the break and beyond. After at least 14 pills (of which the last 7 without mistake) you can take a break without loss of protection.

Since you have already taken one (or more?) pills after the last forgotten pill, just leave the “regular” pause and start the next blister directly. You are and then stay safe and an emergency prevention is not necessary.

Happy for you!
