Too late for the morning-after pill?
I didn't take the pill for 30 hours, but I've taken these two now, and I'm already bleeding. Last week, I had sex almost every day. Is it too late for the morning-after pill now? I'm really scared…

Hello folks, I had a gastroscopy two days ago and they took some blood. My values were the following: Very low. My period has been pretty heavy for the past two days. I wouldn't say I'm losing buckets of blood, but it's still a lot. How can I control it, and what else can I…
Hello, I have these fine white lines on my throat, and it feels a bit slimy and thick when I swallow. (One of my tonsils is also swollen.) I took the mini-pill as usual. Does it still work even if it touches my throat with the "mucus" (I don't know if it's mucus)? I only…
heyy I've read a lot in the last few hours, but I'm still very unsure. My period is still not really regular because I was underweight (a year ago). Last night, I had a minor accident in bed with my boyfriend. So, today I went straight to the pharmacy to buy the morning-after pill, and…
Hi, I had a one-night stand yesterday. I didn't use contraception because I was so horny, and now I have a pulling sensation in my lower abdomen when I urinate. Could this be related?
Hello, I got a yeast infection shortly before my period. I treated it and it almost went away, but then I got my period a day later and now the symptoms are worse again. What can I do? I've also been under a lot of stress the last few days. Could that have made it…
Hello my lovelies, I took the First to Know test from Rossmann. I looked at the test after 15 minutes, and it had a faint red line but was overflowing with blood. What does that mean? Positive? What would you do? :/
I have already replied to your first (more detailed) question.
The error in the second week is absolutely not a drama in a conventional combination pill, and it is not quite true in the third week. Please take a look at the package leaflet of your pill under “If you have forgotten to take XY®”.
The ovaries are almost in deep sleep, even a completely forgotten pill is not a leg break (with the picking being recommended to avoid intermediate bleeding alone) and you do not have to additionally prevent.
According to your descriptiona forgotten (also not taken after, as it has noticed much too late) . The day after that I took them too late.”) that was much more than 30 hours…
But no matter what, it’s all about ensuring protection for the break and beyond. After at least 14 pills (of which the last 7 without mistake) you can take a break without loss of protection.
Since you have already taken one (or more?) pills after the last forgotten pill, just leave the “regular” pause and start the next blister directly. You are and then stay safe and an emergency prevention is not necessary.
Happy for you!
Yes, my congratulations on the child 🥳🥳
