For 3 hours just fever (or elevated temperature?
Hi, I felt really good this morning, but then at lunchtime I played games with my boyfriend for two hours and got really stressed. Then I stopped because I felt sick and had a headache and was feeling ill. 20 minutes later, I took my temperature in my ear and it was about 37.4 degrees, but after I put my phone away for a while, the fever went away a few hours later (I'm currently at 36.9 degrees). Is that from gaming? I also have a slight infection at the moment.

37,4°C is neither Fever is even higher.
However, ear thermometers are inaccurate and soft thus 0.3 to 0.5° C. from the rectal (most accurate) measurement.
However, if you were excited before, a vascular expansion and thus better blood circulation = higher measured temperature occurred.
It depends. More things are possible in the ear. Drum fur not hit, lying on the ear…
Apart from that, it’s not a fever, not even elevated temperature.
