From Düsseldorf to Cologne, which ticket?

Hey guys,

I wanted to go to Cologne the day after tomorrow, but unfortunately I don't know which ticket I need to buy. I have a student ticket for the VRR area and wanted to take the regional train from Düsseldorf main station to Cologne main station, but that's in the VRR area. Do I need a connecting ticket?

Please can someone help me who knows about all this ticket stuff.

If you have the VRR semester ticket, you should also have the semester ticket NRW, and you can also drive to Cologne. (No, I don't know what this ticket looks like and what form it is spent.)

Take the ticket from D to K by VRR and VRS at the machine. It's not art.
