FritzBox as a repeater for Speedport?

Hello,

I want to set up my old FritzBox as a repeater for my Speedport Smart 4, but when I select the network I want to extend the Wi-Fi to, mine is "hidden" in light gray, and I can't select it. Mine is, how can I select it? Is it possible, or do I need to configure something in my Speedport's settings? A LAN connection isn't possible.

It works, but it doesn't make any sense.
In general, it rarely makes sense to let routers do the job of a repeater.

mine is "hidden" in light gray and I can't select it.

Then your Fritz!Box may be so old that it can no longer cope with the Wi-Fi generation used by the Speedport.

A LAN connection is not possible.

Otherwise you should find the right one for your Speedport here .
