Freelancing/Writing?

Hi, are there any sites where you can earn money as a freelancer?

I'm obviously fully employed, but I'd like to earn money by writing and drawing. It takes forever for an author to find a publisher, and it's really a matter of luck. Are there any websites where I can earn money by writing stories, or writing in general, be it blogs or other sources?

Or through comics, drawings and illustrations?

I would rather do ghostwriting less, as I also write lyrics for music and make music on the side, and I do that more for myself.

Any ideas?
