Does PayPal ask for the date of birth?
I no longer have access to an old PayPal account because of an old cell phone number. If I call PayPal now to change the number, will they ask for my date of birth? I probably didn't use my real birthday back then because I was too young.
If this is the case, is there a way to remove my bank account from the account somehow so that I can link it to a new account, e.g. ask the bank or something
No, you didn’t “probably” but you knowingly used a wrong date of birth… do nothing for you and us.
No matter what you are doing now, PayPal will make a legitimation and that will fly. I see black.
Gruss
It is asked about the date of birth and you cannot link an account linked to a PayPal account to another account. I can’t.
Mostly yes. Often the ID is adjusted. Finally, only the account holder should have access and not any other person who randomly knows the account holder.
If you’ve probably done that, by the way, you have one Crime committed § 269 StGB. From 14 years old, Germany is criminal.
No. A bank account once linked to a PayPal account can never be used again with another PayPal account.
You can assume that your data will be checked and then you will be locked forever.
Not only the illegal account, but you as a person.
Your unlawful Paypal application with fake date of birth to pretend you were full-year, although you were underage, that is Data falsification and Identity fraud => Crime in accordance with §269 StGB.
Read it. http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__269.html
Paypal is not a computer game, but an international bank.
They don’t like it when they’re lied and abandoned.
With liars, counterfeiters and scams, Paypal wants to have something to do. And that’s good.
Good for Paypal and good for all honest Paypal users.
No PayPal can be forgotten forever and this is also good.
Do you think PayPal is stupid? You’re locked up forever!
