Frage zur Medizintechnik?
Hallo. Habe eine Frage: Wie sieht es bei dem Bestand von Medizintechnik aus? Gibt es genug bzw. die richtige Technik oder es ist so, dass materiell Mangel gibt oder zumindest quasi geforscht wird an besserer Technik? Wo besteht der größte Bedarf? Also es gibt ja Forschungen z.b. bei Röntgengeräten oder so. Wo liegt der Hauptfokus? Wo gibt es den grüßten Bedarf wie gesagt?
Gibt es Studiengänge zu Medizintechnik oder gehört dies eher zum Medizinstudium selbst?

It’s a real wide field. There’s research in all directions. Currently, molecular methods such as liquid biopsy or sequencing are exciting for diagnostic applications, but of course there are also a lot of other areas.
If you want to explore/ develop such things, you’ll be there with engineering courses or biology. Doctors are less likely in the development teams.
“Medizintechnik” as well as “biomedical technology” is an independent study subject.
