Did you lose your idea of money?

194€ is a lot of money, cheap is not, even for a motorcycle helmet.

And why isn’t a helmet enough?

Which value has 194€ for one is completely different. For reasonable motorcycle helmets, 194€ is not very much now. It’s just the solid entry class. Depending on your own claim, you can invest a lot more. On the subject of what you need two helmets. You don’t need it. But it’s like many things in life. You don’t need it, but you want it.

Depending on the motorcycle, two very different helmets make sense. For example, many supermoto drivers have an integral helmet and a cross helmet, depending on the route and weather conditions.

I know the questioner. He often spends too much money on things he doesn’t need.

By the way… He doesn’t even have a motorcycle license.

I looked on Google and most helmets were under 70 euros.

And yes, 200 euros is not much for a camera. There’s a lot more technology in a camera.

Just my brief comment. Yes there are helmets for 70€. These are, however, some pure plastic things that somehow turn on and break the minimum standards usually meet rather moderately to badly processed and massively smeared during wearing comfort, which is also a safety factor. On the one hand, expensive helmet models use significantly more expensive materials such as carbon, kevlar, special fiber materials, etc., which makes up part of the cost, on the other hand, there are also some manual work in the more expensive models. The carbon models of Xlite are produced, for example, completely in Europe (Italy), with a relatively high manual work share, which goes lost in trimming and lining the carbon moulds up to applying designs etc. In addition, a relatively high level of certification is required for worldwide sales. I wouldn’t buy used helmets either. Yes, you’re saving something that’s a problem. Helmets can be invisibly damaged by falls of a little height, which in the case of the case means that the protective effect is not fully achieved. With a product that is potentially used, decides whether you just stand up after an accident and knock the dust off the clothes or whether you have your last ride in a Black Combi

I buy a lot of things, because you can save a lot and still get good quality.

For example, last time I bought an 18-135 is stm Canon zoom lens for 200 euros, UVP was 480 euros. The quality is the same, the price is small.

Just craft yourself with glasses or buy

These filters are made of plastic. Anyone can also make an edge thinner, because the thing does not have to cost 140 euros. Not more than 40 euros for parts.

Autofocus system? Image processor?

And you are aware that a camera manufacturer must also cover his production and personnel costs, which further increases the price?

It’s not different for helmets.

Nevertheless, they are expensive. In the case of a camera, the winning powers for the manufacturer are somewhat lower than for smartphones.

Why not? 😂

In fact, according to technology already. Sensors can be expensive in production, as well as image processors and electronic viewfinders.

FOX builds helmets in all price classes.

The V2 plays in the league of a Nolan N53 or Airoh Twist. All thermoplastic helmets, therefore the low price.

I call the middle class. It is not a cheapest waste and has a usable processing quality. (at least mentioned)

I would always prefer a thermoset helmet. Save more on the bike than on the helmet.

This is a relatively favorable model. Thermoplastic shell, small shell sizes and quite heavy. These are the main reasons for the low price.

The favorable Fox models are not bad, in the end is the question of exactly what you want to do with it or what you have,

You don’t even have a driving licence

Gretanonym0us

Yes, it’s illegal now.

Is your bike insured? Are you familiar with the basic traffic rules?

You can’t drive on the highway without a driver’s license.

So you can’t drive your bike on the road. 140kmh are offroad difficult and there are few private routes for motorcycles.

I’d rather watch Airoh
