Foundation looks dry?

I have this problem with almost every drugstore foundation. No matter which one. It just sits dry and unsightly. No matter the brand. I put cream on my face before hand and it still looks so crumbly. Why? Do you have any tips for looking after my makeup so that it stays put? The makeup also wears off very quickly if I blow my nose, for example. I don't have that problem with high-end products. I usually always use foundation from Urban Decay, Toofaced and Zoeva. I don't have these problems. What is different about the high-end products?

I can recommend the Weleda Skin Food Cream or the Bübchen Cream from Dm. Apply a hydrated primer after the cream and then complete the makeup with a glowing setting spray. You can also use a vitamin C serum or toner, which makes the skin more radiant.

So I would recommend (My routine):

• Bebe Cream (Dry Skin)

• Fit me concealer or foundation (Maybelline)

• Marshmallow powder (Rival love me)

I also like to shave my face with an eyebrow razor because I think it looks better that way. And I use a wet sponge.

Does your skin look like this before applying foundation? I would use a primer.

Then maybe I should use a slightly oilier cream. If I apply sunscreen beforehand, it won't be as dry. I have combination skin.

If you have dry skin you may need a different face cream and definitely a serum with hyaluronic acid
