Found pigeon eggs in the garden?

Hello!

My sister found a pigeon egg today (according to the internet, it should be at least one) in the grass in our garden, and we don't know if it's still alive or not. According to the internet, pigeon eggs can survive without heat for up to 48 hours, if not longer. We were in the garden yesterday, and it wasn't there yet. It's transparent in the middle, and the rest is just white. Is it dead?

It will have its reason why Mother Pigeon sorted the egg.

Can it have fallen? In addition to the egg on the meadow there was no tree but a few meters further were which were only very high and a nest we did not see there. If she sorted it out of the nest then it shouldn't be broken because it fell down from such a height?

They're probably moved, that's what happens.

And they leave the pigeon there? Because if it is fertilized, it would soon have to slip out loud on the internet

You don't know if it's dead when you tried to brew it. Maybe red light lamp or what that means… Or I don't know if you can take it to a bird-catching station or something. Can't look at the internet..

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, I don't have a red light lamp or an incubator to brew the egg. I've already cleared in with my mobile flashlight with a little distance only unfortunately can't see much

It's probably from a young pigeon that had no experience with laying eggs and hasn't managed to get into the nest in time, so I've been watching. If there are farmers with clucks or an animal shelter or private bird caregiver with nest box, you can try to brood it, otherwise leave it as food for other animals (some crows know how to break eggs).

Thanks for the answer 🙂

Unfortunately we have neither a farmer nor a shelter near us. So should I put it back? Because I left the egg today after I had seen it on the meadow and it was not touched

There are a lot of animals who like to eat eggs, maybe a hedgehog, fox or marten is working at night.
