Photos use a lot of iCloud storage even though there is so little?
So, I have about 600 photos and seven videos, and they take up 3.1 GB of iCloud storage. My girlfriend, on the other hand, has about the same number of photos, and they only take up 1.2 GB.
Why do my photos take up so much storage? What can I do about it? Could it be my MacBook, where I've only synced about 300 photos?

This is probably because you have recorded/stored your images with a higher resolution. And I can tell you that this takes a lot of storage especially at 600 pictures.
And how can I reduce it?
Unfortunately, no more. But there are certainly apps or pages where this is possible, just look at Google.

Depending on how long these videos are, one or the other Gigabeitchen can be used.
Is the function “optimize storage” to ? Save is the reason 🙂
