Photos and videos use up almost 200 GB in iCloud?

Hello! I have the following problem with my iPhone and my iCloud. I have approximately 20,000 photos and 2,000 videos, and they're using almost 200 GB of cloud storage. My boyfriend has more photos and videos each, and they're only using about 50 GB. How is this possible? Am I setting something wrong, and is there any way I can change it? Because I think €10 a month for the cloud is a lot…

Well, if your friend has 100 stones in the backpack and you can also be that your backpack is heavier because you have collected bigger stones. The number is therefore not essential but the volume of all stones.

So you can see how large your images are saved in the settings.

Depends on the resolution, and of course on the duration of the videos.

50GB of 20,000 pictures and 2,000 videos are probably very low resolution and very short videos.

I would just create and complete a NAS, then have rest and have saved all data locally!

Then your friend probably has a lower resolution on photos and videos. They are of poor quality.
