I currently have an eSIM-enabled phone with a SIM card. However, I want to get an old phone for work. How can I activate the eSIM on my current phone so I can transfer my physical SIM to the old phone?

This is called multi-SIM, but it is not supported by all tariffs/providers and usually costs a monthly fee.
eSIM is now possible with many providers, but the physical SIM is then deactivated when the eSIM is activated.

Ask if this Multi SIM offers and what the fees are; that’s what you’re looking for.
