Forgot Outlook password?

Hello, I forgot my Outlook password, and I'm connected to it via my iPhone. I'd like to sell the phone, but to do so, I have to log out, and for that, I need my password. When I click "Forgot password?" I have to fill out a few details, but every time I get an email from Microsoft saying the information I entered is incorrect. How can I solve this problem? I also have other important data in my Outlook.
