Ford Focus MK2 2008 remote control key defective?

The button to open is defective

Could I simply insert the circuit board from this key into my old key and re-learn it?

With skill and a soldering iron you can replace the microtaster on your board. I've done it before. It's funny but it goes. The "Clicker" is available for example on ebay

I don't know. You have to open up and look. At a 2006 Yaris, I could easily solder

Parts from the accessories are like that. Because especially in this case it is a key for Ford but not of Ford. And this is a difference because it is not an original spare part. If you're lucky, that'll work. In many cases this often doesn't work.

See best for car use according to your model and buy the key there. That's how you have an original part. Or new to Ford if he's still available. Then you can let him learn again.

Better once right instead of 4x Pfusch which in the end costs more money
