Fluid retention after wisdom tooth surgery?

Hi, I had a wisdom tooth operation last Tuesday. Today, a week later, I went back to the doctor's office to have the stitches removed.

The surgeon said everything was fine. But when my stitches were removed on the lower right side, I had a small amount of fluid in the wound, which an assistant squeezed out.

I'm back home now, of course, but now I'm in pain there and I'm worried that fluid has built up again.

What should I do now?…
