Fluid mechanics (scope)?
Hello,
I have a question about this task.
Why is in the solution
The circumference is 2*hb+bB? I thought it was 2*hb+bB. I hope for some answers.
Thank you!
Hey, I had to calculate this problem, but I'm not entirely sure if it's correct. The result would be enough for me as a check. If I know I got the wrong answer, I'll check for errors myself first. Thanks in advance☺️
Hello to all physicists out there, I'm writing a 10-hour physics exam soon. So far in class, we've only calculated how much energy is needed to heat water, ice, and steam, using the formula Q = C × m × ΔT. However, we only calculated with one state of matter, meaning just water or just…
In our recent NWT class, we had to answer the question, "The intermediate image of the sun is so bright in the telescope that it should never be observed directly through the eyepiece. You project it onto a screen with the eyepiece. Why do you have to pull the eyepiece out a bit?" My friends…
And what is their relationship to heat?
And where’s the problem? I read the same expression twice.
My idea of the “frictioning surface” in an open trough: you idealize this as a rectangular cross section, then the underside and twice the side wall, but no friction takes place at the top.
