If you say yourself that you are in Portugal in almost 3 hours, it’s worth flying totally, little head fuck because of check in, then still because of Corona the levels that have to go through but when you’re in the plane, and you know you’re right into another country that’s just relax for me. In the end, you can’t do anything about it. Simply listen to music, watch Netflix, play games on phone and and. It’s going to be turbulence. Only when it flies over the clouds it can happen because of the high air flow. But the pilots have been doing this for years, and falling down as you know in the movies will not happen. When you’re afraid of flying, it’s important that you stay relaxed, go to the pharmacist, sign your situation and give you something. It’s the safest thing there is.

But I’m more afraid on the bus and train than on the plane. It’s the safest thing there is.

Jepp, I’m fine. I also find flying completely relaxed, even though I always have something to bammel at the start. I don’t like to go by the train at all. Not at all with the ICE when he’s on the road with 250 things.

You absolutely don’t have to be afraid. I’m a pilot with Lufthansa. I’ve been flying at Lufthansa for about 3 years. Only the colleagues in the cockpit who fly you to Portugal have completed a 2 years training with very high diarrhea rate and several hundred, with the captain (and often also the copilot) thousands of flight hours experience. The plane is the safest means of transport in the world. There must be countless tests until it gets the approval. Aircraft can take a lot off. Because you say you’re flying with EasyJet, you’re probably going to flee with an A320, a 2-engine aircraft. The aircraft is designed so that in case of emergency it can fly on with only one engine completely normal and can also safely rise and you can theoretical could cover the entire flight with only one engine, which is of course not done.

But what I can still recommend to you, what you can do actively against fear of flight, is to load a listening game/music to the phone you can hear during the flight. Maybe you’ll take a little bit of a bit to distract yourself. If you’re still scared, read my text on the plane or before, and make sure that the danger in planes is low. It is more likely that what happens on your way to the airport, which is already very unlikely;)

Take music and try to calm down. Breathe and exhale. Evtl. Can you still buy tablets in the pharmacy (such as against sea disease)

There are seminars for this, but you had to start with it earlier.

Keep one in mind: There are over 200,000 planes per day in the sky. The number of really bad accidents per year can be seen on a single hand. The likelihood that something happened is practically zero.

The aircraft are checked regularly and many can continue to fly in a turbine failure. By the way: How many times did you experience it in a car that during the ride the motor simply goes out?

My tip: Just observe the routined and relaxed operation of the flight attendants after the start. When they go after their work, there is no reason for you to be afraid.

In the case of feelings of fear, failure helps. Instead of pushing all this away, just think about it. Thousands of planes fly over the sky every day. The probability of dying in road traffic is much greater. There is no or at least less fear because you have the illusion that you could do something. This is nonsense.

When I was a kid, I was afraid of rollercoasters and other rough rides, and I didn’t dare. When my brother persuaded me to one, I was afraid of death during the ride!

At some point in the Teenie-Alter I’ve been thinking, you’re stupid, the rides are safe, going from morning to evening on countless rumbles, and it happens as well as nothing. So just forget about fear, because nothing can happen, and instead do one on Superman. Since then, I’ve been driving everything, including the most blazing material, and I have a great fun.

Flying is the safest mode of transport. Only the border controls etc. are annoying, but flying in itself is relaxed.

Just pull through.

Google after breathing exercises.

Do not really need to be afraid on the plane, it is the safest means of transport.

I’m more scared in the car.

The probability that you crashed is inconceivable much smaller than if you have a car accident. Don’t worry.

You can also drive the route by train…

Make you realize how safe flying is. It’s more likely you’re insulting when you drive to the airport than you’re in a plane crash.
