Outdoor escape routes at events?
Hey, I'm a third-year apprentice and currently writing my mock project. But I can't seem to find the right answer to my question online. Why don't you have to provide escape routes outdoors if the area isn't fenced in?
Because escape routes are given to all sides.
The drama in Duisburg in 2010 at the Love Parade was only possible because there were no paths to the outside/way, but the masses were led into a kind of dead end in which a mass panic broke out. The masses didn’t go on, while the arrivals pressed from behind.
