Flexi Stick on horses, experiences?

Have a wonderful day,

I'm considering buying a Flexi Stick for groundwork. It's advertised as being very lightweight and adaptable. You can easily pack it in your bag, and you don't have a rope that drags annoyingly on the ground or gets dirty. You can also buy a flag as a "rope replacement," which is also better for coordination than a rope.

But because it's made of a very light material and only serves as a "pointer," I doubt its effectiveness. I often work with horses (using the traffic light system), and it's clear that I sometimes have to give more forceful input. Of course, I don't want to hit the horse, but not everyone is a horse whisperer, so you have to get used to it. I just don't want a stick that will break when I use it, or that the horse won't take seriously at all.

Do you have any experiences with this that you can share with me? I haven't seen any feedback in any forum or video, and the video by blindlyfollowhorses seems to have been taken offline.

Thank you very much

I also have such a thing that means different (I don’t know exactly how) and still like to use it. Mine was a little cheaper, but apparently has all the functions that mine has. Especially for ground work or horseback riding, it is great by size. With my Shayga-Araber, who generally reacts very fine to help, the stick works super, but my Haflingerstute reacts rather weakly, as I prefer to use normal barley or horsemansticks. How’s your horse? Rather fine or not? I also trained my dog, the cats and the calf. If you’re destined for a cock of Eskadron or something, the price is fine.

belongs for me to the area “superfluous”.

the market now discovers the groundwork and the natural horsemanship. you certainly have to think for a long time how you can pull the money out of your pocket.

and see there: wrap a piece of moss gum around an old auto-teleskopantenne, make another piece of pu-s just as a hand loop and you can get for what 5 euro costs 35.

is very easy…

I don’t think so.

Just use a dressurgerte. as a pure target is enough an old cooking spoon. or just your poor. the poor guy has the advantage that you always have him.

My mother once bought me a carbon longier whip that can be adjusted in size (I think that is telescopic whip) You can use them once as a lingerie whip, but if you use them together as a floor workstick

Too expensive and unnecessary.

You can attach a piece of fabric to each bark with a safety needle and each rider should have a bark.

Because of the construction of the part, I would also assume a certain oscillating effect. And with regard to the overthrowing of equipment, wherever it is, those guilts that leave/forget the stuff there and not the equipment.

I’ve been riding a bark since I was over 10 years old. It’s a bit dirty at times, but otherwise it’s still wonderful. She’s hung in the locker, in the door. There’s nothing wrong. And whoever keeps his stuff lying around is his own fault.

There are different degrees of hardness in Gerten. I’m pretty stiff. Use them a lot as a “circle” at circus auctions and never had problems with it.
