Hi, I saw a video where someone cut off the head of a small shark or something. But the shark was still moving its fin and rear end. How is that possible? It was bleeding quite a bit.

Loading...Can you keep both species of fish together in one aquarium? I ask because many say yes, but others also say clearly no.
We also have shrimp in the tank, and soon to be babies. So, fish that eat small animals don't really come to me, unless they only want the snails. Do you know what I can do to get rid of them? Maybe some kind of remedy or something?

I have wild-caught South American Mikrogeophagus ramirezi and a pH of 4.5. In my opinion, that's an ideal value for the wild form, as it prefers softer water. The highly cultivated strains are more likely to be bred for harder water, so that people have less work to do.

I find Finning or Livering much worse in sharks. If the two words are not a term for you, the fins are cut off to the shark with a living body before it is usually thrown back to the sea where it ends. Even in the live ring, the shark is tortured only that in this case the liver is cut out of the body. Here too, the shark is often thrown into the water…
You know. But just because there are these bad things too, it means that other things that are (almost) just as bad are so okay.
