Do you think that's justified?

The following case:

I'm a cat owner and employee myself, and for years, a neighborhood cat has been coming to me to relax. Since his owner knows he comes here, he picks him up in the evenings, and everything's been fine.

He was here today, too, and it wasn't the man who came in, but his wife. I smiled at her and asked, "Are you looking for Felix?" He was friendly. She immediately made a fuss that she didn't want to come. I said, "Tell him that." And the woman who just walked onto my property uninvited and without ringing the bell has the nerve to tell me I should close the door or chase him away.

I was furious 😡

Still, I didn't address her with the words I had in mind.

But tell me, did I do something wrong because I didn't throw out a tomcat that had been coming for years?

No, as long as you haven’t kept him active with you or even fed him, everything is fine. If she doesn’t want the hangover to chill with you, she’ll have to arrest him. Wouldn’t be a bad option for the cat, but it won’t be the other way. If they prove you this way again, just give her a house ban or chase her with threatening an ad for house peace breaks from the property, but just say that the man can of course fetch the cat again.

You didn’t do anything wrong. Felix’s female manager is to be glad you’re so relaxed. Free-going cats are so that they also stay in foreign gardens. I don’t know where the problem is, as long as you don’t feed it, it’s okay. That’s stupid. That’s what Felix goes into the next strange garden. My free-goers had relaxed again and again with neighbors.

Better stay relaxed and don’t annoy yourself about such an uncomprehensible being. You can only hope that she will deal with Felix properly.

You are good

No, you didn’t do anything wrong. She as owner has to make sure her hangover stays where she wants him.

But you should accept that now.

So next time he comes back, show him where he’s at home.

He knows that and will not be impressed. Not the cat, I’d hunt the woman off the property.

You don’t have to chase him. Cats do what they want. They are looking for their friends and their can openers themselves.
