Braucht man dafür entsprechende Treiber oder sonst was?
Drivers are needed, but modern operating systems such as Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS and current Linux distributions have the drivers right away.
However, you may need to activate the hard drive via the disk management (for Windows), then create and format a partition before you see the hard drive in the Explorer.
If you don’t get the SSD displayed in the disk management, something is wrong. try another USB port.
Yes,
but first convert to a dynamic data carrier,
and then format for your own security,
before you insert it into the external housing.
You can do this with a USB 3 on SATA,
or directly in the PC with SATA ports.

But don’t go to USB2.
Via USB C or 3.1 you have a good speed.
Hansi
Open the data carrier administration and look there, if not to see here, start new and look at the BIOS, should not be shown here, then I would expand the SSD and connect it directly to the board
you can also try the USB3 port directly on the board
Is she formatted and patented?
No.
But since it is neither recognized nor found, it is hard to format it…
