Unfortunately, you didn’t respond to my demand. So you can answer more generally.

Every holiday country should know what season (local) you should go to make a relaxed holiday. Even if it is possible to travel there all year round in Thailand, for example. If you go to the main holiday period or the main travel period of the tourists, the recovery can already be over more quickly before it could begin at all.

It is similar to the USA, because at the time of the cyclones, tornados or hurricanes, some parts of the country should not really be selected as a destination. See Florida. In California there are times where forest fires can be expected. So you should think about your destination and travel time. There is also a time shift that should not be forgotten.

In Australia we have the reverse season. The ideal travel time would be October/November = the spring there and March/April = the autumn there. From my own experience I would prefer October and the trip should also min. 4 weeks. Only the arrival with about 23 hours of flight + the time difference of min. +8 hours must be included.

If the long flight doesn’t matter, and if the cost is not a problem, I’d rather fly to New Zealand. There you have everything in a relatively small space, surfing beaches, a lot of culture and a great country.

Of course, this is also a cost question when 4 people are on the move. Probably the holiday destination decides not least what you want to spend.

Look at all the goals on the Internet and decide what you want to do. Have fun and a nice trip, wherever it goes.

I would recommend Mexico – there you can combine culture and beach as well as surfing, and the USA is not so far, should you have enough time to make a trip here…

I was with my children already in 64 countries, on almost all continents. (Antarctis was without children)

Of the three countries mentioned, Thailand would be the best combination. Beaches, surfing, culture. And also the cheaper of the threes.

You could also travel to Australia with Stopover in Thailand.

Look at Curacao. That actually offers everything you’re looking for. Except surfing (but windsurfing is possible there).

If Curacao is in question, please let me know, there are plenty of tips on accommodation, activities, etc.

Otherwise, Australia is of course also a good option. There then rather direction Sydney up towards Gold Coast. Or connect to one of the South Sea islands there.

Right, island in the Caribbean. Very much museums/culture but also great beaches as well as outdoor activities etc. And very safe.

I’ve been to all three. I would choose Thailand.

You didn’t ask me, but I almost know Thailand. For the accommodation – because of the children – one should think of short paths. There are many possibilities in Thailand. For example Kata or Karon Beach (Phuket) Chaweng Beach (Koh Samui) The main beach of Krabi also offers many possibilities.

The many small islands are beautiful and very good for water sports, but there are complicated and exhausting excursions.

The beach in Pattaya is absolutely mega. And there’s also a bunch of culture there, you’ll get out well without a party.

Where to surf? Where do you find culture? Where can you stay there as a family?

That’s much more like a party place for backpackers.

. South France can also be a long journey for some. It’s all relative.

I had been on the way from Rio to Hamburg with a cruise ship as well as a motorbike. But I’m not a surfer.
