Feeling stupid?

Somehow I've been thinking a lot lately about what a failure I actually am.

I'm 18 years old and have a high school diploma. I then started training as a social work assistant. I failed the second year due to family and psychological problems in the internship. I had good grades in school (only A's and B's in the first year, and more like B's in the second year).

I didn't repeat the year because my interests have changed dramatically. I just don't enjoy working with children anymore. In plain English: two years away.

My first day of school at a business school begins on Thursday. I want to get to know the field of business. But I'm getting a real headache… because what if that isn't for me either? Will I be able to graduate? I ask myself these questions every day these days.

I feel so stupid and just stuck in a hole. Many people my age have already completed their education. Many tell me it's okay. But deep down, I know it's not.

These are questions that everyone asks themselves at any time in their life. You're still young and have all the time in the world (!) to rethink your plans, pursue them, and even start something new.

The important thing is that you start and don't give up.

Good luck

Economics is very interesting – connected with European law – you should be able to do math (3)

You will not learn about business through your high school diploma, but rather through an apprenticeship or internship in this field.

But otherwise, your thoughts are completely normal. You're not stupid; you just don't know what you want to do yet.

But that's nonsense, because theory usually differs greatly from practice.

First of all, I think it's good that you're getting your high school diploma. That will give you a few more years to really figure out what you want to do.

Given how many threads like this you've started here (some of which were simply duplicate threads and were therefore deleted) about your doubts, etc., on this topic, with your school history as the starting point, you need professional help. Talk to your doctor about it.

If you obviously don't want help, there's no point in posting threads. Then I could use my time more effectively for others who genuinely want help.

But really, I just want to help you.
