I think if you give a nickname to someone, it should be somehow adapted to the person. This doesn’t have to be mandatory with regard to the name, but perhaps with regard to the appearance?

So a nickname based on any specific features in the appearance or possibly also in the behavior or preferences of the person. for example ‘Poppy’ for someone whose opium consumption is widely known. Possibly also with regard to any ‘big deeds’ towards ‘Bubblefield’.
