Is a broken spring covered by the warranty on a used car?

I bought a used car from a dealer last September. It's a 4-year-old Opel Corsa E. It had about 52,000 km on the clock. I've driven about 11,000 km so far (or until March). I'm not allowed to drive until next year for personal and health reasons. However, we drive my car regularly.

In June, I had my MOT, and the only thing they criticized was the tread on my front wheels, saying I needed to keep an eye on them. Now, about two to three weeks later, my car started rattling. We went to the dealer and it turns out my front left spring is broken. Is that normal for the car's age? I've only ever driven on paved roads. I'm supposed to pay around €710 for the replacement of both wheels.

Can I appeal this, or does it even fall under the used car warranty? So, I'll let it be done anyway.

No, that’s not a guarantee case. The legal guarantee does not apply.

710,- However, I think Euro is very expensive. Just get another offer from another master workshop.

A feather does not fall into the guarantee. Springs are wear parts.
