Vehicle registration document – simply remove parts?

Hi,

I would like to have the aftermarket intake, engine software and various small items removed from my vehicle's registration.

Can I just go to the registration office and have it deregistered?

yes, if you have a written confirmation that your vehicle does not have an aftermarket suction, no engine software and no different small stuff.

This confirmation may be issued by the TÜV, but possibly also by KÜS or Dekra, if so true.

In case of doubt, a power measurement…

Why is that necessary? Even if everything is expanded, it is not a hindrance that it will be installed allowed. In case of retrofitting to series, the authorisation does not expire.

You need a TÜV certificate that the parts are no longer installed. Then you can get all this done

Even if you have carried out the parts, you must specify the time change of the engine software when you are selling.

No!

… otherwise the licence expires

and the TÜV would stop the vehicle immediately

Well, as long as the parts are no longer installed, nothing is against it. Go – check – make papers adapt 🙂

For what reason does the licence expire? How is the decommissioning to the state which has been granted a general operating permit deteriorating the exhaust gas and noise behaviour, how is it jeopardizing road users, how is it changing the type of vehicle?
