Add rust-solving creep oil (e.g. WD40) to the thread end (the annular gap) and let it act – the longer, the better. The stuff, of course, takes a long time until it has pierced the thread (if it does that at all).

Shake loose with the inbus with knocking movements.

Watch the right direction!.

The pedals tighten with every new one. That’s why you need long levers, too. And note. One has left, the other right thread. So just move against the tread direction.

Pay attention to the threading direction: for loosening always direction “Schaufelraddampfer rearward”.

Pleasant blows with a rubber hammer on the inbus or fork keys can help overcome the first great resistance.
